atmedia GmbH was founded in 1996. The company's main area is secure and reliable data communication. As a market leader for high speed encryption, atmedia is one of the few international companies that offer encryption devices up to 100 gigabit.
atmedia offers products for IT security only. atmedia is not involved in forensics, telecommunication surveillance or crypto and big data analysis.
All atmedia encryption products are developed and built in Germany. atmedia is a privately owned and independent German company.
In addition to it own high speed product line, atmedia also supplies encryption technology to well known international companies.
The systems are optimal for the secure linkage of distributed sites and data centres in the areas of finance, trade, industry and critical infrastructures. The atmedia encryption systems are used by multiple German and international authorities for safeguarding communication connections between their sites.
The atmedia encryption products are certified by the “Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik” (BSI) for the transmission of restricted data.
